For Users outside of the European Economic Area (EEA)
For users outside the EEA (especially in the United States) iGenius S.r.l. and iGenius Inc. (operating as “Joint Controllers”, hereinafter jointly referred to as “iGenius”) add the following provisions. (The “EEA” includes the member state of the European Union and Lichtenstein, Norway and Iceland)
Types of Information We Collect or Receive
Like most other websites, the iGenius Site is structured to collect or receive information when you visit.
Non-personal Information. When you visit the iGenius Site, we receive non-personal information, which is information about things like your IP address, browser and operating system. This is done through “cookies,” which are small files with unique ID numbers. Our cookies do not allow us to learn your real name and address.
Personal Information. We receive more detailed personally-identifiable information from you when you provide us with your personal information such as sign up for a newsletter or contact us. Naturally, this information could include your name, email address and such other information that could identify you.
Advertising Information. Some information created by cookies involves how users such as you navigate the iGenius Site. We do not display ads on the iGenius Site.
How Do We Use the Information We Collect?
We use the information in several ways, among them to: respond to your requests; improve the iGenius services, including customizing them to your preferences; and to inform you of certain changes in those products and services.  We may transfer the data across state and country borders for the purposes of data consolidation, storage and simplified customer information management, which will be done as specified in the privacy notice above. When you sign up for a newsletter you have the opportunity to specify how we use the information you provide. You can opt out of receiving such materials through the procedures included in them.
We don’t sell or trade your personal information. We don’t share the personal information except for limited purposes of running our business by using the services of third parties that have agreed with us to keep such information secure. These would include, for example, cloud storage providers, email services for newsletters and its use by our subsidiaries in the same manner as we have described. We may have to disclose information if we believe that it is appropriate or necessary for legal reasons (such as a government request, court order or legal process served on us).
Opting Out of Third Party Cookies
Your browser may be set to a default that accepts cookies, but usually you can modify those settings to reject cookies. If you do so, please understand that some of the features of the iGenius Services or parts of the iGenius Site might be disabled. You can also opt out of customized Google Display Network ads by visiting the Google Ads Preference Manager.
Additional California DisclosuresShine the Light.
Under the California law known as the “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section 1798.83) California users have the right to prevent us from disclosing the information you provide to third parties for direct marketing purposes by those third parties. We are also required by the law to respond to your request about our practice of disclosing such information to such third parties.  We do not have any practice of such disclosure. If we ever start doing so then we will let you know and give you the opportunity to opt out.
Online Erasure.
Under the California law known as the “Online Erasure” law (Business and Professions Code Sections 22580-22582) operators of certain types of websites are required to allow registered users who are under the age of 18 and residents of California to request removal of content they post. We do not permit anyone to post content.

The iGenius Site may from time to time include links to third party sites. When you visit those sites you are subject to their privacy policies and practices and iGenius is not responsible for those sites or anything on them or available through them. You should review and understand the privacy policy of each such site.
Links to Other Sites
iGenius does not respond to Do Not Track signals because, except for the Google analytic services described above, iGenius does not track site visitors across third party sites and over time. Your browser should be able to set the Do Not Track signal on sites that do respond, thereby enabling you to inform them that you are not to be tracked.
Do Not Track Notice
iGenius complies with applicable laws as to data security. If iGenius becomes aware of events governed by those laws then we will follow the procedures for notifying you.
